My journey with music began at the age of 7 when I entered Conservatory of Music in Szczecin, Poland majoring in violin. I've sang in the school choir and also played in the orchestra. From the age of 13 I've started performing in Musical Theatre shows. Starting with "Hansel & Gretel" (which toured in Germany) "West Side Story" and "Melodies of Broadway" (both choreographed by Barry Solone). As a teenager I've sang in jazz&blues bands, big bands and also attended many gospel workshops. After Secondary Music School I've realized the violin was not my calling. So I decided to move to Warsaw where I've started a gospel group called "Tribe of Alma" and lead gospel workshops at Redeemed Christian Church of God. In 2005 "Tribe of Alma" won first prize at the International Gospel Festival in Osiek.
From 2007 I've worked as a back up singer for established pop artists. In 2008 I had an episode with being a part of girl band. We've done a profiessional showcase, worked on choreography with Marvin A. Smith in Hamburg, Germany. In a following year I was working as the lead singer with a cover band in Marina Yacht Club, Bodrum, Turkey.

I am lucky to have a very extensive experience, worked in many projects: pop, rock, funk, soul, blues, jazz and house. Currently I am involved in 2 music projects in London and in the process of developing my own original material. ​

 

My other passion- acting I've started in 2006. I have acted either as a lead or supporting character in many tv commercials and appeared twice as a supporting character of a long running tv series.
I have often been praised by the directors as a quick learner as I delivered the required role with given instructions in a short period without the need for many more takes.
Currently I am studying acting in the Kingdom School of Arts in London and I am determined to improve on my acting skills through experience and with further studies on the subject. Tutor Aaron Neal's assessment about me in the end of term report : “Emilia has a natural gift for camera, and her screen audition was one of the best I saw that day. She's also dedicated and committed to the work which is a great energy to have in class.”
